Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics when she was just 6. The coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them on an excursion. Biles, who won gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 with the elite section of the competition. A year later Biles was the king of the field. Biles was notable for her consistency in performance, vivacious character, as well as the difficulty she encountered at the four events she competed in such as vault, bars with uneven surfaces, and balance beam.
